Night Hunters

Night Hunters, also styled The Night Hunters, is an Indian hacktivist group first observed in 2023 and operationally active by April 2024 according to ThreatsEye. The group announced #Op_Ma against Moroccan public and private institutions for 10 August 2024 after earlier campaigns targeting Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia and other Muslim-majority countries. ThreatsEye attributes active scanning, public-facing application exploitation, web-shell persistence, DDoS and database theft/leakage to the group, while reporting more than 380 websites affected across roughly nine countries in under four months. Those volume and impact figures remain vendor-reported and should not be treated as independently victim-validated totals.
