Team Hackers Argentinos
Team Hackers Argentinos is the 3C-INT profile label for the historical collective more commonly reported as Team Hack Argentino, Team Hacker Argentino, Team Hacking Argentino, TeamHackArgentino and THA. Public reporting documents an Argentine hacktivist identity active at least from 2013 through 2016, with repeated external web defacement, campaign-branded propaganda and participation in collaborative hacktivist operations in Argentina, Latin America, Africa and other regions.
The group's strongest demonstrated behavior is unauthorized modification of public-facing web content. Documented incidents include the defacement of political and government websites in Argentina, Peru, Mexico and Colombia; a 2013 #OpFreeSyria campaign that reportedly altered hundreds of websites; and the 2016 #OpAfrica mass-defacement activity associated with Team Hack Argentino member Tobitow. The latter operation provides the clearest behavior-level access evidence: Tobitow stated that a Joomla vulnerability was used against Webafrica-hosted websites.
The collective also used cyber activity as a messaging vehicle. Reported themes included anti-corruption and political criticism, animal-welfare advocacy, solidarity with Syria, Colombian independence-day protest narratives, and #OpAfrica messaging around corruption, child labour and Internet censorship. This pattern supports an issue-driven hacktivist model in which symbolic visibility and propaganda effect often mattered more than covert persistence or data acquisition.
Historical evidence is materially stronger than the previous low-visibility baseline. However, current continuity remains unresolved. The X identifier @[redacted] is retained as an actor-linked CTI pivot, while the historical @[redacted] identity appears in contemporaneous claims. No reliable evidence recovered in this collection window demonstrates a sustained 2026 operational tempo under the same organizational structure.
