Hacktivist Indonesia

Hacktivist Indonesia is an Indonesia-linked hacktivist group with a public Telegram channel at @[redacted], a defacement footprint preserved in public archives and a history of public data-leak claims.

CYFIRMA documented the group's May 2024 disclosure of a Centurion University database containing extensive applicant, student and payment-related information. HaxorID records multiple website defacements under the Hacktivist Indonesia team label, while CYFIRMA later reported the group claiming defacement of the Malaysian Highway Authority site during Indonesia–Malaysia cyber tensions in January 2025.

The actor is best characterized as a visibility-driven hacktivist group combining public-site defacement, sensitive-data publication claims and geopolitical messaging. Technical access and exfiltration mechanisms are not consistently exposed.
