Hacktivist group

Rashtriya Cyber Sena

Rashtriya Cyber Sena is an emerging hacktivist label assessed as India-origin/pro-India, with a very limited recoverable public footprint. Actor-specific public evidence currently consists of a preserved 2025 defacement claim against a Pakistani packaging company and a 2026 claim involving an Indonesian regional-government electronic-signature environment.

The two episodes suggest a target logic spanning traditional India–Pakistan rivalry and retaliatory India–Indonesia hacktivism. The evidence supports website defacement as an observed brand-linked behavior; the Indonesian data-breach claim remains unverified and lacks a disclosed acquisition method or victim-side confirmation.

The group should therefore be profiled as a monitoring candidate rather than a mature, technically characterized intrusion set. Its strategic relevance lies in possible coalition participation, rapid brand growth and cross-border symbolic targeting, not in demonstrated bespoke tooling or persistent-access capability.

Overall confidence is low. The name, at least one defacement artifact and a later breach claim are recoverable; membership, channels, attack infrastructure, tooling and operational continuity remain unresolved.
