NewSec Group is a historically documented hacktivist collective assessed by Thales/Verint as probably Brazilian and historically led by DemonSad. Its campaigns combined DDoS disruption, public-web compromise/defacement and data-leak activity across politically framed operations including #OpIsrael, #OpVenezuela, #OpNicaragua, #OpSudan, #OpEcuador/#OpAssange, #OpUK, #OpHonduras and #OpIndonesia. Public X activity in 2020 indicates brand continuity beyond the main 2019 collection period, but a comparable 2026 operational stream was not established in this dataset.
